Chapters
What is 2DFD?
2DFD is online findom with a 2D persona. She’s fiction. The money, the time and the consent are real.
2DFD and classic findom
Classic findom has a real person behind the dom. 2DFD has a drawing. Face, voice, anonymity, content and risk change. The money doesn’t.
Where 2DFD happens
A persona lives on a handful of platforms, each with one job and its own rules. None of them was built for 2DFD, and none of them protects you.
Who is in the scene
Doms, subs, artists, tool makers and the servers where they meet. Most people wear more than one hat, and most of the scene is small.
How an evening goes
Most 2DFD sessions follow the same shape, from the first short order to the last send. Once you know it, you can enjoy the scene and still stay inside your limit.
A short history
Findom is older than the drawn persona, and not much of its history is written down. This page keeps apart what the public record shows, what I’ve seen change over a few years, and what has no date at all.
Secrets of the scene
Most of the real secrets of 2DFD are about how the scene works. A few people pay, attention is scarce, reach is partly luck, and ideas get copied within weeks.
Numbers
There’s no measured income figure for 2DFD. This chapter sorts the numbers you’ll hear by how far you can trust them, and shows you the sums you can do yourself.
