Where 2DFD happens

A persona lives on a handful of platforms, each with one job and its own rules. None of them was built for 2DFD, and none of them protects you.

In 30 seconds

  • A persona is spread over several platforms: one for reach, one for gifts, one for chat, sometimes one for subscriptions.
  • Each platform has its own rules on adult content and age. Only one of the pages read for this wiki names findom, so read every rule with care.
  • A wishlist treats every send as a gift. Nobody can make a dom keep a promise made in a scene.
  • Payments are the weak point of the whole scene. Money can be frozen and accounts closed.
  • Picking a platform doesn’t keep you safe. Read the rules yourself and keep your own limit.

You will learn

  • Which platforms a 2DFD persona usually uses, and what each one is for.
  • What their own pages say, as of 2026-11-03, about adult content, age and gifts.
  • Why adult labels and reach on X are hard to predict.
  • How to recognise a page that hides what it is.
  • What to do when a tool built on a platform stops working.

I live on more than one platform, and I rent every one of them. A rule can change, an account can close and a payout can freeze without anyone asking me, or you.

The usual road

Newcomers usually follow the same road. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

  1. Find her on X

A persona posts art and short messages on X, where reach is the whole point. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

  2. Talk on Discord

The relationship happens in a chat server, where she can talk, set rules and answer. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

  3. Gift on a wishlist

Sends go through a wishlist platform as gifts, and most personas use Throne. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

Her public footprint is a handful of platforms with separate jobs: X for reachreachHow many people actually see an account’s posts. It’s an account’s main asset and the main driver of a dom’s income, and it depends mostly on luck and account standing., a subscription site for content, a membership page for tiers on her tools, a wishlistwishlistA public list of gifts a creator accepts. Researchers describe findommes being paid in wishlist gifts. In the scene it works as a price menu and the main route for sends, and the wishlist platform has its own terms and a fee. for gifts and Discord for the community. No single one carries the business, because she can lose any of them. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study. If you’re a sub, this is the map of where your money and your messages go. If you want to be a dom, it’s the list of what you’ll be renting.

Platform by platform

The table gives each platform’s job for a persona and what its own pages said about adult content and age on the day this wiki read them. Rules change, so open the page yourself before you rely on a row.

What the rules say

Adult content and drawn art

Drawn doesn’t mean exempt. X applies its adult content definition to AI-generated, photographic and animated content, including cartoons, hentai and anime. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Adult Content Policy (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Throne applies its adult content rules the same way to real photos and to drawn, comic or anime-style art. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What’s allowed in my profile text and images? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Throne also says explicit sexual acts aren’t allowed in any format, including illustrated and animated sex scenes. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What’s allowed in my profile text and images? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026.

Some places are off limits for explicit material. X doesn’t allow adult content in live video, profile pictures, headers, List banners or Community cover photos. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Adult Content Policy (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Discord doesn’t allow sexually explicit content in any space that can’t be age-restricted, such as avatars, bios and banners. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Discord Community Guidelines (rules 6, 9 and 10) (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026.

Every persona is an adult, with nothing childlike in her looks or setting, whatever her lore says. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study. Discord’s rule covers fictional and anthropomorphized children and AI-generated or manipulated images. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Discord Community Guidelines (rules 6, 9 and 10) (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Throne bans any sexualised depiction of minors, including characters meant to look like minors. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What’s allowed in my profile text and images? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026.

Findom itself

Only one page read for this wiki names findom. Ko-fi lists findom themes as high-risk fetish content it doesn’t allow. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Ko-fi Content Guidelines (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. It says it tells high-risk and low-risk fetish content apart by explicitness and other factors, including real versus fictional. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Ko-fi Content Guidelines (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. The others say nothing, and saying nothing isn’t permission.

A rule that doesn’t name findom can still be used against it, and it’s the platform that decides. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study. These readings are this wiki’s own. They aren’t legal advice.

Gifts and what they buy

Throne says everything on a wishlist has to be a gift. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What types of items can I add to my wishlist? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. It says it can’t be used to exchange goods or services, including commissions. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What types of items can I add to my wishlist? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Profile text can’t offer content or services in exchange for gifts through Throne. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What’s allowed in my profile text and images? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Cash Gifts have to be tied to a real physical product. VerifiedChecked against the original source. How do Cash Gifts work? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. They can’t be used for NSFW or adult items. VerifiedChecked against the original source. How do Cash Gifts work? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Breaking these rules can get items removed or the account suspended. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What types of items can I add to my wishlist? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026.

So wording that sells a service is a risk for the persona’s page, and a trap for you. Item names, pictures and wishlist wording are a risk decision for the account as much as a marketing one. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

What the platform sees of you

On Throne, a gifter never sees the creator’s address, delivery name or other identifying details. VerifiedChecked against the original source. How does Throne protect my privacy? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. A gifter’s payment details and email aren’t shared with the creator. VerifiedChecked against the original source. How does Throne protect my privacy? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. A gifter can pick any gifter name, or none at all. VerifiedChecked against the original source. How does Throne protect my privacy? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. A gift message can be public, and a public message can show up as a stream alert. VerifiedChecked against the original source. How does Throne work? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Don’t write anything in a public message you wouldn’t say out loud to everyone you know.

The drawing hides the dom from you. It doesn’t hide her from the platform. A creator gives a name, full address, phone number and email address when registering. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Throne asks creators to verify their identity before they withdraw funds. VerifiedChecked against the original source. Why am I being asked to verify my identity? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Her anonymity ends where the money lands. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

Labels and reach on X

X allows consensually produced adult nudity or sexual behavior if it’s properly labelled. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Adult Content Policy (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. It lets an account mark a single photo or video as nudity, violence or sensitive. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Your media settings (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. It also says it may use automated techniques to detect and label potentially sensitive media. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Your media settings (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. It may label an account that keeps mislabelling media. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Your media settings (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Marking each adult post yourself is the persona’s job. You can’t predict what X will decide on its own, because it doesn’t publish how it decides. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

  • Myth

Anyone can get a persona silenced just by reporting her.

    Fact

Reports sometimes do nothing and sometimes get an account locked until she appeals. It varies, and a persona plans for both. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

A suggestion ban, written SSBSSBShort for search suggestion ban on the main social platform: the account stops showing up in search suggestions, so reach drops and a new persona struggles to grow. The long form is a guess from how the word is used, because no platform document spells it out. Checking for it every day can wear you down., is what people call it when an account stops showing up in search suggestions. X doesn’t document it under that name, so the word only describes what people see happen. In my experience it cuts reach hard, can last weeks, and sometimes lifts on its own. Reach on X is mostly luck and account standing, and the art matters less than people hope. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

X doesn’t require a real identity on a profile, so a persona under a pseudonym is allowed. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Authenticity (includes the Synthetic and Manipulated Media rules; the old manipulated-media help URL now redirects here) (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Its rule on fake personas targets false identities, including AI-generated profile photos, used to deceive others. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Authenticity (includes the Synthetic and Manipulated Media rules; the old manipulated-media help URL now redirects here) (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. The rule’s wording is aimed at deception, and X decides how to apply it. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

Why a persona keeps more than one account

Opening a new account to get around a suspension can be treated as ban evasion, and this wiki doesn’t offer it as a plan. Same for a tool that likes or posts for a sub on his own account, which can get him banned and flag the dom for botting. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

When the payment companies get involved

Behind every platform there’s a payment provider, and its rules sit on top. Ko-fi says its creators have to stick to the rules set by PayPal and Stripe. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Ko-fi Content Guidelines (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. PayPal doesn’t allow buying or selling sexually oriented digital goods or content, including downloadable pictures, videos and website subscriptions. VerifiedChecked against the original source. What is PayPal’s policy on transactions that involve sexually oriented goods and services? (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. The stricter rule wins, and the persona often can’t see which one was applied. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

In 2024 a wishlist site used by findommes was reported to have lost its card processor. No cause is confirmed. UnverifiedPlausible, not proven yet. Nobody should build on a single rented route without asking the provider in writing what it accepts. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

That’s why some people try to hide what a page really is from a payment company. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study. This wiki won’t explain how. It asks you to recognise the signs.

Red flags

A page that hides what it is

  • A request to describe your payment as something it isn’t.
  • A page that won’t say what it sells, or what your payment is for.
  • An instruction to keep quiet about what a payment is for if anyone asks.

Counter. Refuse, and only pay through a route that shows what it is. A page built to look like something else is built so a payment company won’t see it. When that fails, it usually ends in a frozen balance or a closed account tied to a real identity, and the money in transit can be yours. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

Chat servers and tools that lean on platforms

Discord is where the relationship really happens. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study. Most servers are small, and Who is in the scene shows what their rooms are for. Discord requires every channel with sexually explicit content to carry an age-restricted label. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Discord Community Guidelines (rules 6, 9 and 10) (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. A server that hosts that kind of content needs an owner and moderators who are all over 18. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Sexual Content Policy Explainer (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Discord may age-gate a whole server that mainly hosts sexual content. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Sexual Content Policy Explainer (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026.

Telegram says private groups and chats are private among their participants, and that it doesn’t process requests related to them. VerifiedChecked against the original source.Telegram FAQ (opens in a new tab) Accessed 3 November 2026. Inside a private group, the safeguards are the ones you bring yourself: your limit and your exit. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

Some servers post every send in a channel. Seeing another dom’s sends there can set off comparison and jealousy, and a public tally of sends ranks people by money. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study. It’s one of the designs Safe design asks you to refuse, and you can ask to be left out of it.

Tools built on a platform inherit its changes. When the platform patches the way an automatic tool uses its pages, the tool can stop for days, and its maker may not know who’s affected. A card payment also includes a bank confirmation step on your own phone, and changing item names or prices on a page can break a tool that relies on them. A tool that points to item links can send money to the wrong item when items are reset or recreated. Vivian’s field notesFirst-hand experience, not a study.

When a tool stops working

  1. Stop. Don’t reinstall from a link or a zip someone sends you in a hurry.

  2. Read the maker’s own announcement, where you first got the tool.

  3. Check your total and your limit by hand, from your bank, never from the tool.

  4. Only test again after you’ve read what changed, and with the stop within reach.

  5. If money moved that you didn’t confirm, call your bank first, then read Check a tool before you install it.

Check yourself

  1. Question 1 of 3A wishlist rule says everything on the list has to be a gift. What does that mean for a promise made in a scene?

Answer. Nobody can enforce it. A gift can’t buy a service or a place. Your limit is what protects you.

  2. Question 2 of 3A persona asks you to describe your payment as something it isn’t. What is that?

Answer. A sign of a page that hides what it is. A page built to look like something else is built so a payment company won’t see it. The one who loses is the person whose name is on the account.

  3. Question 3 of 3A platform’s rules never mention findom. What follows?

Answer. Nothing follows, and the platform decides. Silence isn’t permission, and it isn’t a ban either. Read the page yourself and assume it can change.

Remember it

  1. A persona is spread over several platforms, and she can lose any of them.
  2. Drawn art isn’t exempt from a platform’s adult content rules, and every character has to be an adult.
  3. Only one page read for this wiki names findom, and silence isn’t permission.
  4. A gift buys nothing, and nobody can enforce a promise made in a scene.
  5. A page that hides what it is puts the person whose real name is on the account at risk.
  6. Check a move to a new account or a new link on a channel you already trust.
